the second release, “Ishtar 4 a.m.” is a more intense mixture of lo-fi beats that are buttressed by detailed elements such as taken-down drum machines and delicate woodwind instruments, enhanced in a seamless manner by a saxophone that plays around beautifully-crafted traditional Arabic melodies. Both musical pieces have such disparate atmospheres of its own that go beyond a mere loop of cuts and samples, yet it brings you the same objective to walk you on an ephemeral sonic trip—giving a space to recall every memory or to find a new place within yourself throughout the journey.
